Best Dressed at the Oscars 2012: Jonah Hill in Ermenegildo Zegna

Oscar night is one of the most exciting moments of the year when it comes to celebrity looks but that is often the case for women only. Most men tend to stick to their classic tuxedos that, while they're not offensive, just blend into the background. This is why I love guys like Robert Downey Jr. or Ryan Gosling – they always bring something interesting to the red carpet, be it in colour, texture or accessories.
Neither Robert not Ryan were meant to make an appearance on the red carpet so I wasn't expecting much more than a handful of really slick Giorgio Armani or the odd Tom Ford tux. Luckily, Jonah Hill came to save the day. I am so impressed with how cool and slick he looked. He wore a one-button, satin shawl collar tuxedo, which he paired with with a black (though it looks blue to me) shirt and a black satin bow tie, all by Ermenegildo Zegna. This is an outfit after my own heart. There is nothing more powerful than beautiful pieces in the same colour palette when you know how to use different textures.
Jonah really taught everyone a lesson in style, elegance and how you don't need to be Brad Pitt to look awesome.
